El Gaucho de Banús

★★★★½ 4.4 · (2,417 reviews)

The port’s own Argentinian grill and one of the most consistently praised meat restaurants on the whole marina El Gaucho is on Calle Muelle Benabola overlooking the harbour, and the kitchen does what a proper Argentine parrilla should; high quality cuts cooked exactly to order, with the kind of attention to meat that you don’t get in a restaurant that just happens to do steak. The fillet is consistently mentioned in reviews as being exceptional. It’s also halal-certified, making it one of the most inclusive quality steak options in the marina.

No. 3

★ HIDDEN GEM ARGENTINIAN ASADOR · EVENING DINING · WAGYU

Tango Restaurante

★★★★½ 4.4 · (561 reviews)

Tango is the port’s most serious Argentinian asador, an evening-only restaurant on Avenida Julio Iglesias that puts the quality of its meat front and centre. The kitchen will show you the cuts before you order, tell you what’s best, then cook it right. Wagyu ribeye on the menu, blood sausage is a real find, and cocktails strong enough to make it a full evening out. Not as well known as El Gaucho, but equally good for the meat – and much easier to get a table on less busy nights.
