The Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Puerto Banús

Share
Share

Puerto Banús’s fine dining is more laid-back than white tablecloths and hushed service, and it’s better for it. It’s the restaurant where you can’t talk because of the food. where the service anticipates rather than responds. where the space, kitchen, and setting all work together to make the bill seem totally fair. Each of the four eateries in this book passes that bar in a different manner.

No. 1

FRENCH BRASSERIE · MEDITERRANEAN · ALL-DAY FINE DINING

Leone Brasserie

★★★★½ 4.4 · (656 reviews)

Leone is the most complete fine dining experience in the port and the one that works hardest across the full day. It’s one of those restaurants where someone has clearly cared about how the room feels, not just how the food tastes. With French-influenced Mediterranean dishes such as the salmon tartare, duck and melon salad, chicken Milanese  and the service on its best days is exactly what fine dining should feel like: present, warm and unhurried. The Sunday bottomless brunch has its own dedicated following and the transition from dinner to cocktails is more organic than the restaurant needing the table back. Puerto Banús’ most versatile fine dining option, ideal for a business lunch, a special occasion dinner or a long weekend brunch.

Hours · Mon–Thu 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM · Fri–Sat until Midnight · Sun until 11:00 PM Address · C. Ribera, Local 44 Phone · +34 952 81 17 16

“Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere, really friendly staff. It was all delicious.” — Google reviewer

★ HIDDEN GEM FRENCH · SCANDINAVIAN · FINE DINING · EVENING ONLY

Los Bandidos

★★★★☆ 4.3 · (515 reviews)

Los Bandidos is the port’s most quietly serious fine dining restaurant, evening only from 7 PM, at the higher end of Puerto Banús pricing and not a bit apologetic about it. The kitchen bills itself as fine dining and in the reviews it delivers. Beef carpaccio with parmesan and truffle, beautifully presented dishes, an extensive menu that caters for every taste and dietary requirement and service described as impeccable throughout. It fills up – you need reservations, especially in summer – which tells you all about its reputation among those who know the port. One reviewer said it was the best food they had eaten since arriving in Marbella.

Hours · Daily 7:00 PM – 1:00 AM Address · Muelle Ribera, 35 Phone · +34 654 01 89 67

MUST TRY — Beef carpaccio with parmesan and truffle · Chef’s recommendations · Reserve ahead

“The best food we’d had since arriving in Marbella. Extensive menu, snappy friendly service, great surroundings.” — Google reviewer

“This is at the higher end of Puerto Banús pricing, but in my opinion worth it.” — Google reviewer

No. 4

INDIAN · FINE DINING · MARINA LANDMARK · SINCE 1980

Mumtaz

★★★★☆ 4.2 · (796 reviews)

Mumtaz earns its place in this guide the old-fashioned way, with 45 years of consistent quality, a waterfront terrace on Muelle Salman with uninterrupted yacht views, and a kitchen that takes its cuisine seriously enough to have kept the same loyal customer base across four decades. The restaurant is elegant but not formal, perfect for the marina setting and completely renovated in 2025. The tandoori, biryani and signature curries are all cooked by experienced hands and the wine list and cocktail offering make it a full evening out rather than just dinner.

Hours · Daily 1:00 PM – Midnight Address · C. Muelle Salman, Casa A, Benabola 7 Phone · +34 952 81 20 90

MUST TRY — Butter chicken · Lamb dishes · Tandoori specials · Waterfront terrace

“Lovely meal and atmosphere. Fadi was excellent, really friendly and chatty — we’d definitely be back.” — Google reviewer
