You can’t really have a bad date night in Puerto Banús. But you can have a great one.
There is something about Puerto Banús at night that does half the work for you, the yachts lit up on the water, the warm air, the feeling of an unhurried evening. But the good restaurant does the other half. The five spots in this guide are picked with couples in mind: the atmosphere, the intimacy, the service that makes you feel like the only table in the room, and the food that gives you something to talk about long after the bill arrives.

Leone Brasserie
★★★★½ 4.4 · (655 reviews)

Leone is the most complete date-night restaurant in the port with a beautiful room, a menu that delivers and an atmosphere that feels both lively and intimate at the same time. The design is a stunner, Paris meets Riviera, the terrace on Calle Ribera offers some of the best people-watching in the port and the kitchen turns out dishes such as the salmon tartare, duck and melon salad, chicken Milanese that feel special without being stressful. The cocktails are some of the best on the marina and the transition from dinner to drinks is natural, rather than rushed. Looking for a table to book for a date that starts at 8pm and ends when you decide? Well, Leone is the table to book.

INDIAN · MARINA LANDMARK · WATERFRONT TERRACE
Mumtaz
★★★★☆ 4.2 · (796 reviews)

Mumtaz has been setting the scene for romantic dinners since 1980 and the 2025 refurbishment has brought a warmth and elegance to the room that makes it one of the most atmospheric tables on the marina. The waterfront terrace on Muelle Salman and the uninterrupted views across the yachts makes it simply one of the most beautiful places for a dinner date in the port. Indian food is for a slow, sharing evening. Dishes come one after another, flavours grow and glasses of wine are topped up. Mumtaz pulls all of this off with the confidence of a restaurant that’s been doing it for more than four decades. Fadi, a staff member, has a warmth that in review after review comes up as something that really adds to the evening.

PiCú Puerto Banús
★★★★½ 4.5 · (1,712 reviews)

PiCú is the most refined date-night option at the port, a notch more formal than its neighbours, with a beautifully designed room, candlelit tables and a service that is genuinely attentive without being intrusive. The kitchen is a real whizz with fresh seafood and the catch of the day sea bass gets a shout out in review after review as one of the best things you can eat at the marina. PiCú becomes something rather special on flamenco evenings (check for dates): dinner and live performance in one of the most atmospheric settings in the port. Book ahead, dress up and make an evening of it.

NAVAYA
★★★★★ 4.6 · (58 reviews)

NAVAYA is the port’s prettiest secret, with a gorgeous restaurant at Conjunto Benabola that stops people in their tracks when they see it. The views are spectacular and truly unforgettable, especially at sunset and the setting has an elegance and calm that makes it feel a world away from the busier marina strip. The kitchen delivers on the aesthetics of seafood paella, fresh sea bass and ribs all get a mention in the early reviews and the service from Paula is repeatedly singled out as warm, fast and genuinely attentive. Fewer reviews than its neighbours, simply because it is newer, but scoring higher than almost anything else on the port. Book ahead – word is getting out.

FRENCH · SCANDINAVIAN · FINE DINING · EVENING ONLY
Los Bandidos
★★★★☆ 4.3 · (515 reviews)

Los Bandidos is still the port’s most discreetly elegant dinner option, a Muelle Ribera-based French and Scandinavian fine-dining establishment that opens at 7 p.m. and takes its food very seriously indeed. Beef carpaccio with parmesan and truffle, a huge menu with something for every taste, impeccable service and a warm, intimate interior that feels a million miles away from the busy marina strip just outside the door. It is at the higher end of the Banús price range, but reviewers say it is worth every euro. Reservations recommended. It’s busy for a reason.
